You see the whole price before you book.
The mover sets their rate and we never change it. We add a 5% service fee, and HST goes on the total — both shown before you book, not after.
How an hourly rate is built
- The mover's own hourly rate
- Set by them. Reflects their experience and reviews.
- Each extra crew member
- Added per hour, only for the crew size you choose.
- Their truck, if you need one
- Added per hour. Skip it if you're driving yourself.
- A minimum number of hours
- Usually two to four. Shown on every profile.
You’re billed for the hours actually worked. If a job finishes early, you pay less.

How we make money
A service fee on completed jobs.
My Mover takes a 15% service fee from the mover on jobs they actually complete. That pays for payments, support and the platform itself.
- Free for customers to search, compare and message
- Movers pay a one-time $35 registration fee — the cost of their identity and background check, not refundable
- No lead fees, no bidding, no subscriptions
