Delete your account
You can delete your My Mover account yourself, at any time, without asking anybody. You don’t need the app and you don’t need to email us.
Start here
Deleting happens inside your account, so we’ll email you a link that signs you in and takes you to the right page. We ask for this so that nobody can delete somebody else’s account by typing their address.

What happens when you do
Gone, permanently
- Your name, email, phone and photo
- The addresses on every move you booked
- Messages you sent your movers
- Photos you uploaded of your move
- Your saved card, deleted at Stripe
- Your sign-in — you can’t get back in
Kept, without your name on it
- The record of each finished move — the date, the hours and what was paid. Your mover needs it for their own books, and so does the taxman.
- Any review you left stays up for the mover it was about, with “Former customer” where your name was.
It happens straight away, not after a waiting period, and it can’t be undone. The Privacy Policy sets out what is kept and for how long.
When it won’t let you
You have a move booked. Money is owed on it and a mover has set the day aside. Finish or cancel the job first, then delete — it will let you straight away once nothing is outstanding.
You’re a mover. A mover account carries payout and tax records that have to be closed properly rather than deleted. Email hello@mymoverapp.com and we’ll take care of it.
Stuck, or the link never arrived? Email hello@mymoverapp.com and a person will sort it out.
